Our origins have shaped our entrepreneurial and artisanal character. It all started back in 1955 when our founder Tomás Díaz López created the brand Dicar.

The history of Dicar dates to 1955, when our founder Tomás Díaz López created the brand Dicar. Already back then this enterprising artisan had his mission clear: anything for ice cream.
We defend the artisan spirit of the origins with our industrial and exporting capacity just like, Ibi inhabitants did when they knew how to transform the ice from their snow-wells into sweets, and after that into a whole ice cream industry that was born from human ingenuity.
