Dicar, artisanal origin

The history of Dicar dates back to 1955, when our founder, Tomás Díaz López, created the Dicar brand. Even back then, this entrepreneurial craftsman had a clear mission: everything for ice cream.

The company’s purpose remains just as strong today: to manufacture, day after day, cones, wafer cones, wafers, and sheets, to make your ice cream experience even more enjoyable.

Over its 70 years of history, Dicar has continuously improved, grown, and expanded its scope of operations.

Since its inception, the company has been based in Ibi (Alicante), and today it occupies a 18,000 m² facility, including the factory, warehouses, and offices.

Thanks to its experience in wafer production, we have positioned ourselves as a market leader in the manufacturing of cookies for the ice cream industry, and today we are one of the main suppliers in the sectors covered by the industry, including the Artisan, Industrial, and Retail sectors.
